Local varieties are important genetic resources that must be conserved to support rice breeding program. Ciater is situated in Subang District, West Java where local rice varieties are still cultivated by farmers. However, information about the rice varieties is very limited. This inventory is aimed to obtain information and to collect germplasm of the rice varieties in Ciater area, Subang District-West Java. The research was done from March to Juni 2014. A total of 12 accessions consisting of 5 sticky rice varieties and 7 local varieties was collected and mostly found in Cibeusi village. The rice varieties have harvesting period in an average of about 6 months. They are characterized by a low number of tiller, relatively high stem, and tailed grain. The cultivation system was done by using integrated crop management technology with local customs.
