Abstract

Nelly N, Yaherwandi, Effendi MS. 2015. Diversity of Coccinelidae predators and aphids (Aphididae spp.) on chilli crop ecosystems. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 1 (2): 247-253. Utilization of Coccinellidae predators as biological control was affected by many factors, including the level of diversity and the presence of prey. The purpose of this research was to know the diversity of Coccinellid predators and aphids as prey on chili crop agroecosystem. The data of species diversity were analyzed using ShannonWiener index and evenness of species were analyzed by Simpson index. The diversity level in differences location was studied with Primer program ver. 5.0 for Window. The results of this research were found 10 species Coccinellidae predators dan six species of aphids. The abundance of Coccinellid species predators was dominated by Menochilus sexmaculatus (Fabricius) (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) while Aphis gossypii (Glover) (Homoptera: Aphididae) become the most abundant among six species of aphids.
