Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 1: 753-756. Indonesia as an archipelago country has a diversity of ethnic groups that each of them generally has a certain local knowledge. One of the knowledge is weaving crafts. This craft is one of result of human creativity to fulfill their basic need of clothing. Sasak ethnic in Lombok Island, have still conserved the weaving crafts until now.One proponent of the weaving craft sustainability is the availability of the natural dyes derived from plants. The knowledge of dye plant species should be documented to support the conservation efforts of these species. In this research, the data collection was carried out in Sukarara Village, Jonggat sub-District, Central Lombok District, West Nusa Tenggara, which was one of the centers of weaving crafts in Lombok. The research method was a direct field observation and interview. The result showed that there were six plant families, eight genera and eight plant species which had been used as a weaving craft dye. Meanwhile, parts of the plant used included barks, leaves, fruits, seeds and woods. From eight species of plant, the produced colors were red, black, purple, blue, light green, dark yellow and brown.
