Abstract
Yahumri, Damiri A, Yartiwi, Afrizon. 2015. Growth and result performances of three new superior variety of paddy in Seluma District of Bengkulu. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 1: 1217-1221. New Superior Variety (NSV) is an important part of improving the productivity, production, and income of farmers. One of the causes of low productivity of rice in Seluma has not yet fully adopted the technology components of PTT rice, particularly the use of new varieties by farmers. The assessment was conducted in April-July 2011 in Rimbo Kedui village, South Seluma sub-district, Seluma district for comparing the potential productivity of three NSV of paddy. A randomized block design (RBD) was used in the experiment field of new superior varieties Inpari 6, Inpari 10, and Inpari 13 with single factor and 6 replications. The results based on the number of productive tillers, blank grain, filled grains and 1000 grain weight show that Inpari 10 is adapted well and has high yield capability in comparison with Inpari 6 and 13.
