Harvested area of the rice crop in the Pandeglang District in Banten in 2012 was 115.033 ha with a production of 576.622 tons. The goals of this study were to: (i) know the actual condition of rice farming in the regency of Pandeglang, (ii) assess the factors that affect rice farming production in the regency of Pandeglang. Survey method with multistage random sampling was used on a sample sub-district and 31 respondents. Data were analyzed both qualitative and quantitatively. Descriptive tabulation was used in qualitative analysis and multiple linear regression functions was used in quantitative analysis. The results of this study are: (i) generally cropping pattern of rice-rice with B/C ratio value is 4.0 that means rice farming is profitable in Banten. Varieties were planted Ciherang (45.2%), Inpari (22.6%), IR-64 (16.1%), Mekongga (12.9%), local (3.2%). (ii) The significant factors that affected rice production in rainy season 2013/2014 are number of certified seed usage, amount of urea usage, amount of SP-36 usage, amount of NPK usage, amount of manure usage, amount of solid leaf fertilizer usage, number of hired labour, and expansion of cultivated land. It is recommended that the government should retain the subsidy of seed and fertilizer, and take responsibility for the price of grain.
