Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 1: 1654-1657. Cocoa pod borer pests or CPB Conopomorpha cramerella Snellen, Lepidoptera, Gracilaridae. CPB is a major pest of cocoa plants very harmful because it can decrease the production of 50-90%. In Indonesia, this pest is very worrying. You could say 75% of the cocoa pest attack CPB. Continuity of cocoa production in Indonesia is faced with the problem of pest winches cacao CPB categorized result of the attacking weight loss grain production amounted to 82.2%. One of CPB pest control by sex pheromone environmentally safe. This research aims to study the insect pest catches CPB with the use of sex pheromones and the intensity of the attack. The research was conducted in October 2013 until February 2014 Sausu Torono village, Sausu District, Moutong Parigi District , Central Sulawesi, On farmer research with an area 1 ha plantation, with the treatment one unit sex pheromone traps in each treatment eight tree replications a tree with eight blocks. Observations included calculating catches male insects are caught every two weeks until the first harvest and harvest three months late. Observations were made the level of fruit damage at harvest with scoring symptoms of damage from the CPB. Research shows that the number of insects caught on the first harvest PBK within each block are Block I 25 tails, Bloc II 31 tails, Block III 51 tails, Block IV 60 tails, Block. V 31 tails, Block. VI 33 tails, Block. VII 32 tails and Block VIII 19 tails, total all Block 282 tails with the category average of 4.38-16.398 attack with attack intensity 69% before application and after application of sex pheromone intensity of attacks dropped an average 0.08%.
