Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine an adoption level of paddy varieties in North Lore (highlands), Poso District, Central Sulawesi Province, in Wuasa Village. There are five varieties which were tested such as Inpari 16, Inpari 23, Inpari 24, Inpari 27, Inpari 28 and a local variety (Superwin and Kamba) and each variety was repeated three times (farmers as replications). The study was used +1.0 Hectare and average of paddy yield (data). The yield results of Inpari 16 (7.71 t/ha dry grain harvest) and Inpari 24 (7.50 t/ha dry grain harvest) was given the highest results compared with the other varieties. In general, all improved varieties had higher productivity/high yield than local varieties, that range from 2.8 to 5.71 t/ha.
