Resistance response of swampy rice lines against brown planthopper, blast disease and bacterial leaf blight

This study aimed to obtain the swampy rice lines that resistant to the brown planthopper, the blast disease and the bacterial leaf blight. The results showed that the swampy rice lines that showed the moderateresistant response to brown planthopper biotype 3 and 2 were 35 lines, while 14 lines showed the moderateresistant response to brown planthopper biotype 2. Meanwhile, the result of blast disease evaluation showed the lines that resistant to one race were 54 lines, the resistant lines to two races were 43 lines and the resistant lines to 3 races at races 033, 073 and 133 and races 033, 133 and 173 were 3 lines and one variety namely B13983E-KA-44, B13100-2-MR-3-KY-2, B13100-2-MR-3-KY-2 lines and Inpara 4 variety. The results of testing on the swampy rice lines against the bacterial leaf blight disease were obtained 2 lines and 1 variety that showed the resistant and somewhat resistant responses to groups IV and VIII namely B13983E-KA-12-2, B14361E-KA-36 lines and Inpara 9 variety.
