The red jungle fowl (Gallus gallus) is an important natural biology resources and has been domesticated by communities in District of North Bengkulu, Provincesiof Bengkulu, Indonesia. This research aims to evaluate the condition of red jungle fowl production and population in North Bengkulu. The respondents were selected by a snowball sampling. Forty-six respondents have been found, and only nine respondent as developer to survey exhaustively. Data collected by interview, filling of questionnaire. and direct field observation; consist of: population, amount of hen, egg production, day old chick (DOC) production, ratio sum of DOC with sum of egg production. The Result showed that population of red jungle fowl was 167 individuals, sum of hen per breeder was 3.56 individuals, and egg production per hen per period was 6.89. or 33 per hen per year, the frequency of laying eggs per year mean was 2.56 times. DOC production per hen per year was 56.4 individuals or 47.63% from egg production. The scenario of development of population can be done by improving: the amount of hen, laying eggs frequency, the amount of hatching, minimizing the amount of sale and mortality.
