Abstract
Abstract. Usmadi D. 2019. Potential distribution of Agathis borneensis in Central Kalimantan Province. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 5: 455-458. Conservation status of Agathis borneensis is threatened on the IUCN red list. The prediction of distribution of Agathis borneensis is very important in the context of conservation and monitoring of this species in natural habitat. This study aims to predict the distribution and identification of environmental factors that limiting the presence of Agathis borneensis in The Central Kalimantan Province. The data used in the study were the Agathis borneensis presence data and the environmental variables included geophysical factors (elevation and slope), climate factors (rainfall, air temperature, and solar radiation), vegetation factors (land cover and NDVI), and edaphic factors (soil type). The analysis of species distribution used the Maxent model version 3.4.1. The Maxent model could predict the distribution of Agathis borneensis in the Central Kalimantan Province with a good category and could be used to determine priority areas for the conservation of these species. The environmental factors that influence the distribution of Agathis borneensis were land cover, solar radiation, and NDVI.
