Abstract. Mayrendra CT, Solichatun, Pitoyo A. 2022. The effect of variation of concentration of Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) and Naphthaleneacetic Acid (NAA) on the growth of Protocorm Like Bodies (PLB) Dendrobium verninha x lasianthera orchid. Pros Sem Nas Masy Biodiv Indon 8: 80-86. Dendrobium is one type of orchid in great demand as an ornamental plant and has a high economic value. One type of Dendrobium with an attractive color is Dendrobium verninha x lasianthera. However, in Indonesia, the propagation of orchid seeds is still done conventionally and takes a long time, so it cannot meet market demand. Therefore, an effective and efficient propagation effort is needed through in vitro culture techniques. This study aims to determine the appropriate variation in the concentration of BAP and NAA hormones on the growth of Protocorm Like Bodies Dendrobium verninha x lasianthera. The design used was a factorial, completely randomized design. This study used nine treatments with a combination of hormones on MS media, namely BAP (0, 2, 4 ppm) and NAA (0, 2, 4 ppm). The data were analyzed using the ANOVA test at a significance level of 5%. The F test results that had a significant effect were analyzed using the DMRT test at a 95% confidence level. The results showed that there was an interaction between the treatment of growth regulators BAP and NAA on PLB height, number of leaves, number of shoots, and number of roots. The best results from each parameter were 4 ppm BAP + 4 ppm NAA for PLB height, number of leaves, number of shoots, and wet weight; treatment of 2 ppm NAA and 4 ppm NAA for the number of roots.
